Projects
4-Place Automatic Filling Station
Scales Plus built a custom 4-place filling station using a Rice Lake Enterprise indicator, Benchmark scale bases and pneumatic valves. The filling station dispenses material into containers, turning off automatically when the containers are filled to the specified weight. A "dribble" effect was programmed into the Rice Lake 1280 indicator, which allowed small amounts of material to be dispensed at the end of the fill process to ensure extremely accurate final fill volumes. This system provided an automatic filling solution with exceptional accuracy for retail product, increasing packaging speed and efficiency. It allows a single operator to fill up to 4 containers at a time, and achieve exceptional precision and speed versus manual filling.
