The scale is great so far. It was easy to set up and get operational. The only challenge that results in the loss of one star is the directions. They were written by technical people for technical people. There is no preamble that says, "The scale has a digital read-out, small rudimentary computer. Connection, and other issues can be solved by entering "programming mode". To enter programming mode press the "Hold and Print" buttons for 2 seconds. Various programming functions are organized from C01-C39. The following table (insert table here) tells you which programming function is associated with each alphanumeric character and the inputs and their effect. The display screens "Zero" key functions to move the cursor indicated digit up (noted under the "Zero" key) and the "kg/lb" key functions to change the blinking field to the proper digit in the display, which can then be changed with the "Zero" key), these keys allow you to select the digit to modify and to modify that digit...etc.
