OHAUS Defender 6000 bench scales are designed for applications where weighing takes place in wet environments, or where cleanliness is paramount. Defender 6000 scales feature a high IP rating to protect against damage to critical components from water or dirt. They feature IP67 rated load cells, full stainless steel construction and two indicator choices that are both washdown-rated. Cleaning these units with high-pressure water is permissible which is perfect for food processing facilities, chemical weighing, pharmaceuticals and other industries with demanding environments.
OHAUS Defender 6000 washdown scales are NTEP-certified for use in legal-for-trade applications where product is sold to consumers by weight. They are also NSF-certified and support HACCP systems. Defender 6000 comes standard with multiple weighing units and modes, including general weighing, parts counting, checkweighing, percent weighing, dynamic weighing, display hold and checkcounting. i-DT61XWE models also include a filling mode, perfect for accurately filling containers by weight. An expansive communication interface is also included with i-DT61XWE models, coming standard with RS232 and USB, and expansion options including Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, analog output, and discrete IO.
