The Rice Lake 350-10-8S digital stretcher scale provides the first line of patient weighing when a person is received into a medical facility by stretcher. A heavy-duty frame and wide dual ramps enable safe, fast patient processing, while two rubber wheels allow quiet transport of the scale between locations. Motiontrap movement compensation technology cancels involuntary patient movement during weighing to produce an accurate reading, and a metal nonslip platform with safety side rails keeps the patient secure. The scale is factory calibrated and runs on six AA alkaline batteries for roughly 25 hours of continuous use, with an optional AC adapter available. Serial and USB communication ports support data transfer, and an EMR-capable interface, unit toggle, tare, hold and BMI functions round out its clinical feature set. A wireless personal area network (WPAN) version is offered separately.
