Instead of a load cell these units use a mono-metal tuning fork sensor which provides quick response and stability for accurate readings. Multiple weighing modes and units can be accessed and displayed on the easy to read LCD display. For the 620 g model a draft shield is included to minimize disturbances caused by ambient effects.
