Why do you do add-to-cart discounts?
Scales Plus applies automatic discounts in our online shopping cart for many of our products to provide our customers with the best deal possible. We have to provide those deals in cart in the form of a discount to remain compliant with MAP policies from our suppliers.
What is a MAP policy?
MAP policy, or Minimum Approved Pricing, is a pricing policy imposed by many manufacturers. The displayed pricing online must meet the minimum price requirements, however, discounts in online shopping carts are acceptable for most policies.
Is everything discounted?
Many of our products will have a discount applied in cart. However, there are some exceptions. To determine if the product you are interested in is eligible, simply add to your shopping cart and watch for the savings!
In addition to our exceptional prices and add-to-cart discounts, Scales Plus offers free ground shipping for a large portion of our catalog. To see which items ship free, just look for the free shipping icon on the product page or in the search listings. Free ground shipping is to the 48 continental United States (with exception of Alaska and Hawaii). Free shipping does not include expedited shipping options.
