The NTEP approved OHAUS Defender 5000 Washdown boasts an IP68 rating for its indicator and an IP67 rated stainless steel load cell with a silicon seal. This scale can be utilized in industries such as food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and all others requiring an extremely durable stainless steel washdown bench scale. An overload rating of 150% capacity ensures that the scale’s load cell is protected from abuse.
Topped with an OHAUS TD52XW, the Defender Washdown is capable of an impressive range of weighing functions. The indicator features standard RS-232 for connecting to PCs or printers, while also having optional communication such as WIFI, Bluetooth, a 2nd RS-232, RS-485, or USB. Included in the TD52XW is a MicroSD that enables the indicator to store massive amounts of data. The indicator can also be utilized in batching or connected to a PLC with the addition of the optional Analog output or the Digital I/O.
