Moisture Analyzers
Moisture analyzers, also referred to as moisture balances, are commonly used for quality control in many industries such as food, plastics, and pharmaceuticals. As the name suggests, a moisture analyzer is used to determine moisture content in certain samples by recording the total weight loss after heating, otherwise known as the "Loss on Drying" principle.
Moisture analyzers have a few different options for heating elements such as a halogen lamp, an IR emitter, a metal heater, or a microwave radiation heater. High level accuracy moisture analyzers are commonly paired with an antivibration table and anti draft chamber for stable readings.
